  • Attendance required at all sessions to receive ESL Teacher Certification

Cost:

$25 pp SBCV affiliates; $35 couple

$50 non-SBCV affiliates

Registration fee includes all materials. Coffee, water, and snacks will also be provided.

Participants may bring their own bagged lunch for Saturday or opt to order a Chick-fil-A boxed lunch (sandwich, chips, cookie, and drink) for $5, payable to the church on Friday night.

Pre-Workshop Assignment:

A pre-workshop testimony assignment will be explained in your registration confirmation email.

  • Organizing an ESL ministry
  • Understanding a student’s English fluency and placement interview
  • Techniques for teaching English
  • Lesson planning
  • Introducing vocabulary
  • Teaching pronunciation
  • Dealing with cultural misunderstandings
  • Incorporating biblical material into class sessions
  • Sharing the Gospel with students
  • Recommended resources
